Third-party exchange rate data

The live "Official Rate" shown on this site is fetched directly from your browser to a third-party public exchange-rate API (open.er-api.com). That request is made from your device and is subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which pages are popular. Any such analytics would use cookies in a similar manner to the advertising described above.

Daily rate email

If you subscribe to the daily rate email, we store the email address you provide, along with a subscription status and the date you last received an email. We use it only to send you one email a day with the current market rate — we don't share it with third parties or use it for anything else. Subscribing requires confirming via a link we send to that address (double opt-in), and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately.

Data we don't otherwise collect

Outside of an email you voluntarily provide to subscribe to the daily rate, we don't ask for or store your name, financial account details, or transaction amounts through the converter tool itself — all conversions happen locally in your browser.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
